The Social Lives of Animals was published in 2022 by Profile Books in the UK, Allen & Unwin in ANZ and Basic Books in the US. It was previously released as an audiobook, Animal Societies, on Audible.
Since then it has been translated into Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Italian, Polish, Spanish and Turkish.
